Sharing Harper By V.Murphy Blog Blitz !!!!!!!

Ok, I'm sure you can't tell me this cover hasn't been blowing up your Amazon recommendation scroll because It has mine. I'm ashamed to say this book is sitting on my computer right now- waiting for me to sink...my eyes?? ..into it ! This WILL be the very next book I pick up ! First off the cover is amazingly eye catching and I was drawn to it the second I saw it ...so 5 stars for that! And second it's one of our Amazing Author of the Day's work ...so double 5 stars !! Murphy decides to turn the tables around for us. I can't even begin to count how many books I've devoured with the male character the hardcore, non-feeling,bang every chick I see type. Well from looks of it we are getting to FINALLY see the Female be this character ! To say I'm thrilled about this is an understatement. Girls can be badasses too ya know!

She is a current graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and heading out west to live the California dream while pursuing her masters degree in school counseling at the University of San Diego. You can find her writing in a Panera, small coffeeshop or on campus. When she is not spending her time in school or reading, she loves to write, bake and shop.

Also A fan of writing in odd places like in bathtubs, under staircases, in a tree, or maybe zoo.
 I was born in Montreal, Canada and  a few years later my parents moved home to the States where I’m currently attending College. I began writing when I was in middle school most of it was just simple poetry but in my head I was Maya Angelou. I loved Why The Caged Bird Sings and always saw myself as the caged bird. I asked myself what is my thing? What am I good at? It sure wasn’t math or science and I was okay in music. In middle school I was the girl with the purple clarinet, however that did not help my ability to play; I was simply okay. I played volleyball and basketball because I am tall and figured you can’t go wrong with that.
I don’t know why I never thought about writing. As I was searching for a niche in everything else I was also writing stories about a girl searching for where she belongs and people my age going on wild adventures. One day a teacher of mine, Ms. E. McAllen, asked me what I loved to do and it finally hit me. I love being a storyteller. But I was afraid no one would want, or care to read what I had to say. Until another teacher, Ms. K. Cole  gave me the pep talk that changed my life.
I would not have the strength to grow the hell that is getting published and I would not be an Author if it were not for my pen name Judyann McCole.
My Debut Novel, Adela Arthur and the Creator’s Clock, will be out this summer. 
MOONRISE will be in stores Fall of 2013.













About the Book:
                    
                        I wish I could tell you the contents of this book were purely fictional. That I, Adela Arthur, was just a normal sixteen year old from Portland; that dragons, giants, elves and mermaids were just myths.  Legends shared from crazy old grandparents to crazy old grandparents around campfires; after all that is what I used to believe.

I never would have thought they lived on the other side of our mirrors in a world called Cielieu. But they do…

I never would have thought there were humans, better known as Volsin that lived among them with the ability to create light from a single thought.  But there are…

I never would have thought I was one of them… But I am…

I am the last Arthur and I was brought to the human world after a Volsin, filled with greed, began to strip the light from our kind.

The human world was supposed to be a safe haven… but he’s found us and the only way to stop him is to go back to Cielieu and begin training as a student in the Elpida Castle of Light.

Like I said I wish the contents of this book were purely fictional and not my life…

Author of the Day Arleigh Westunlied

Welcome this awesome Author of The Day : 


Arleigh Westunlied

 Arleigh is an engineer turned author. His main genre is steampunk fantasy and he is currently working on a series of novels in that genre. He put his writing of these novels on hold to complete a commissioned biography, Point of the Rear Guard, and this became his first published work. 

Arleigh just recently began putting his stories to “paper”, however the ideas for his series have been in his head for many years. He once dreamed of writing a fanfic based on Tolkien’s Universe, picking up where Return of the King left of, but this never came to fruition. Instead, he is now creating his own universe.

In his spare time, which he doesn’t have much of, Arleigh enjoys spending time with his family, photography, nature walks, golf, finding sea glass on the beach, and other outdoor activities.

Serenity Valle:Author of the day

Today I'm showing off the wonder Serenity Valle as Author of the Day ..Hope everyone has a great weekend and come again Tuesday to see Serenity's Hubby as AOD ! 



Serenity began writing short stories when she was 7 years old. She illustrated these stories as well, even though now she admits she can’t draw. Her parents would buy her extra school notebooks to write her stories in. Her favourite place to write was under the carport during a rainstorm. She would sit at the picnic table and write for hours during summer storms. While still in high school, Serenity had nearly finished writing a full length novel. Unfortunately, the notebook fell out of her backpack during her Junior year (she believes on the bus) and was never found. Devastated, she turned from writing and threw herself into drama. For many years she participated in school musicals and community theater. She even had a very small (uncredited) part in the 2001 Tim Burton film “Planet of the Apes”. She did get to meet Burton though and said he was “eccentric but very nice”. She also did some modeling in the past few years and continues to pursue that venue as well.

During this time she began writing again for an online RPG game based on the show “La Femme Nikita” (one of her favourite shows of all time). Slowly, she began to have ideas for her own stories again but always found that the middle of the story was missing. She wrote the beginning and left it until her block was defeated. Just recently, Serenity started writing again full force and has recently completed writing her first book, an anthology of short stories (see Books for more information). This will be her first published work.

Serenity & Then Some: Serenity is the wife of a former Navy nuclear engineer and author. She is mum to 3 boys, currently aged 20, 16 and 18 months. Serenity graduated from Cerro Coso Community College in 2002 with two Associates Degrees in Social Sciences and Humanities, then went on to graduate in 2005 from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Latin American/Latino Studies. She is a proud Banana Slug and a proud sister of Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority. In the little free time she has between family and writing, she enjoys gardening, reading, crafting things, henna art, and watching such shows as “Burn Notice”, “Covert Affairs”, “Warehouse 13″, “Law & Order SVU”, “Touch”, “Kitchen Nightmares” and others.
